Cliffside Rules & Regulations
Cliffside RV Park is operated by NAS Whidbey Island's Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department. Thank you for reviewing and abiding by the guidelines we have established for your safety, comfort and enjoyment.
Check in time is 2 pm for RV sites, yurts and campground.
Check out time is Noon.
Camp Hosts are located at sites #58 (South Loop) and #1 (North Loop). If you have any problems after hours, please contact the Camp Host on Duty.
Occupation of Units
All keys (each yurt has a key) are issued upon check-in and after inspection from a camp host. Please return keys to Recreational Office upon check-out at or before noon.
Camping unit may not be left unoccupied for more than 48 hours without notification to the Cliffside RV Park Office or Host.
Two (2) vehicles are allowed per site. No tent camping is authorized, except in tent camping area of the park.
All campers must be parked on assigned site. No parking on the grass, roadway, or vacant camping sites.
No more than 6 people will occupy a single site.
No tent camping will be allowed in RV Sites, or in any areas outside the designated tent camping sites.
Pets are not permitted in the bath facilities, laundry, our camping trailers or yurts, with the exception of service animals; service animals must have vest to identify them as such.
Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of all campers and their guests to ensure compliance with park rules and regulations.
If violations are observed, notification to Cliffside RV Park Manager or Camp Host is advised.
Registered guests will be held responsible for any damage or destruction to the RV Park facility (buildings or grounds).
Safety
For emergencies dial 911 (Security Dispatch). Please notify office or Camp Host of any incident or accidents as soon as possible.
In case of emergency in a camping unit, turn on 4-way emergency flashers.
A 5 MPH speed limit will be strictly enforced in the park.
Fire rings must be used for any open fires. Wood may be purchased at Cliffside RV Park's Office. Fully extinguish all fires before retiring for the evening or vacating the site.
Fires must NOT be left unattended.
Burning of driftwood from the beach is prohibited.
Open ground and beach-fires are prohibited.
No cooking in yurts.
Sidewalks are not to be used for scooters, bicycles, skates, roller blades, skateboards, etc. (Exception: handicapped motorized scooters). Helmets are required at all time.
Firearms are not authorized on base and must be declared and checked into the armory. Please allow 1 - 1 1/2 hours for the check-in process.
Drone flying is prohibited on Ault Field and in Cliffside RV Park.
Environmental
Place all trash in recycling bins and dumpsters provided at each end of the park. No household trash will be deposited in laundry or restroom trash cans.
Sewer hoses must have airtight fitting (i.e. Elbow or sewer seal donut).
Dumping of gray/black tanks on ground is prohibited. If spillage occurs, hose down immediately.
Sewer caps must be replaced prior to leaving.
Carpets/mats must only be used on concrete pads, not on lawn, grounds or any other natural surface.
Vehicle repairs/maintenance work (i.e. oil changing, brake bleeding, flushing radiators, etc.) is not permitted. An Auto Skills Center is located on base for your convenience.
The washing of RV's and all Trailers is prohibited by NAS Whidbey Island & Navy Region Northwest environmental policies. Spot washing of bugs off the vehicle front is permitted using water only.
Laundry Facilities
Laundry facilities are available 24 hours.
No rubber backed rugs, shoes or boots are allowed in dryers.
Lint filters must be cleaned after each use and lint deposited in trash.
All spills are to be cleaned up immediately to avoid any accidents.

Children
Parents/guardians are responsible for safety and behavior of their children. Parent(s) or guardian(s) will be notified of any child displaying unruly behavior. 1st infraction will result in warning; 2nd infraction will result in guest being asked to leave park with no refund.
Children under ten years of age must be supervised at all times.
Pets & Service Animals
A maximum of two (2) pets per campsite is authorized. When checking in, please notify out camp hosts that you have brought pets, and how many.
Pets are not permitted in the bath facilities, laundry, or office building, with the exception of service animals. Service animals must be identified as such.
Pets are allowed in our Yurts and Trailers with applicable pet fee. Pets may not be kept in your vehicle. Please keep this in mind when making your reservation and let the staff know upon check-in.
Animals must be confined within the camper when owners are away. No pets are to be left tied up, fenced, or otherwise unattended.
Erecting fencing for animals is not permitted. Small cages on concrete pads are acceptable, but owners must be in attendance at all times when pets are outside.
All pets, including cats, must be on a leash no longer than six (6) feet in length when outside the camping unit.
Pet items are strictly prohibited in all washers and dryers.
Pets cannot be kept in anyone's vehicle during their stay at Cliffside. Pets are only authorized at tent sites or in your RV/trailer.

Camping Courtesies
Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am Excessive noise, such as barking dogs, screaming, loud radios/TV's will not be permitted. Disorderly conduct by adults or children will not be tolerated. Violations of park regulations will result in patron being asked to leave the campground.
Anything that may detract from aesthetics of the park is prohibited, such as: clotheslines, fences, dog lots, sheds, gardening, items tied to vegetation or trees, or structures of any kind.
Common areas/facilities are for registered campers. No smoking is allowed in any government building, including yurts. The fireplace pavilion may not be used for individual or group meetings.
