Mountain Bike Cascade Trial, MYFFR # 4018025

The 22.5 Cascade Trial boasts 12 benches, 23 trestles, and two bridges made from repurposed railcars. The trail follows the Skagit River as it parallels State Route 20. The trail, which was completed in 1999, claims its origins from the Great Northern Railroad, which transported lumber and concrete during the 20th century. The mostly crushed-stone pathway runs through cultivated fields, open space, scattered woodlands, and river bottoms. We will enjoy a leisure 7 mile ride (round trip 14 miles), then stop by the Train Wreck for lunch before heading back. You can either choose to bring your own lunch or purchase lunch at a local restaurant.

PROVIDED: Experienced guide, round trip transportation, bike and helmet rental which you will be fitted for prior to departure.

WHAT TO BRING: Please bring plenty of water, sack lunch or money if you chose to purchase food, and daypack or backpack, if you do not have one you can rent one for Community Recreation free of charge.

Register by Thursday, Feb. 22 with myFFR #4018025.
