Never done Yoga before? Never Snowshoed? This is the perfect event for you! It is a great chance to experience both for the first time.
Join us for day to remember as we head to the high country to an area that's a snow magnet where the world-record snowfall (1,140 inches) piled up during the 1998-99 season. We'll warm up with 30 minutes of yoga then off for the trail! This guided trek will last about two and a half hours with stops along the way for Yoga Poses in the snow, hot Yogi tea, and time to enjoy the beautiful views.
This is a Level 1 trip; it will be nearly level with a small amount of elevation gain. The distance will be less than two miles so it's a great trip for beginning your Snowinga adventures!

As we head back home we will make a relaxing stop at Whatcom County's premier vineyards. This area provides a long, mild growing season for the production of varietals favored by many local vineyards. The award winning line-up includes many Chardonnay's, Merlot's, Rieslings and more!

Waivers/Perquisites: Transportation Liability waivers and Medical Screening forms must be completed and signed prior to the trip departing. Waivers are available online and will also be available on the van on day of departure.
Provided: round trip transportation, experienced guide, and all equipment

WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a daypack to carry your water, snacks and extra dry cloths, hat, waterproof snow gloves, your camera and extra money for dinner on your own.

WHAT TO WEAR: Lightweight ski pants, rain pants with long underwear, snowboarding pants lined with a little fleece layer or regular trekking pants will work well. Snow in Western Washington is quite wet, so you'll want something water resistant. Layer your upper body with a quick-dry piece close to your body then a fleece jacket that can be unzipped for ventilation. You want to be a little cold when you start because you will warm up quickly. You'll want warm, waterproof boots as well. Do NOT wear cotton or jeans.
